General characteristics of Fungal Infection
Fungal infections are by and large contagious and tend to spread easily from one body part to another and from person to person. The common kinds of fungal infections are athlete’s foot (infection between the toes), jock itch (wherein the groin is affected), ringworms (starts at a central point and spreads to form a ring), and candiasis (that affects the underarms). The infection can break onto body parts like the underarms, waist, groin, and in between toes etc.
